UNICREDIT: Diversity and Inclusion Matter Event
Guest Speakers Scouting
Event Organization
Behind- the-scenes event model relied on a participant-driven open space concept; we wanted employees to co-shape the event, co-creating the content, suggesting speakers, and being active actors on the stage. We introduced fishbowl panel discussions and had a full-day moderation by several skilful UniCredit Group’s employees.
Diversity and Inclusion Matter Conference was born out of the desire to have more meaningful discussions in the entire UniCredit Group about this issue. Startaparat has worked closely with UniCredit Group and Bank Austria teams for several months, strategizing, planning, creating, and executing the entire event.
Diversity and Inclusion topic is, probably, one of the most important topics for businesses today. Not just because a diverse workforce has been proven to be of a higher value for the organization. But mostly because having diversity and fostering inclusion is much more complicated than it sounds.
One of the main goals of the Diversity and Inclusion Matter event was to motivate employees across the UniCredit Group. To strive in their everyday lives and inspire people to do more in the future, regardless of gender. The event was dedicated to future priorities focused on gender equality and inclusion.
We envisioned it as space where people of diverse generations, backgrounds, countries, and industries met and discussed at eye level. Behind- the-scenes event model relied on a participant-driven open space concept; we wanted employees to co-shape the event, co-creating the content, suggesting speakers, and being active actors on the stage. We introduced fishbowl panel discussions and had a full-day moderation by several skillful UniCredit Group’s employees.
The event gathered exceptional keynote and guest speakers, form all around the world, discussing the gender balance and how to make inclusion work. We heard some feisty discussions about gender pay gap gaps across different industries; we learned about gender diversity in the world of arts and science; explore how the topic works in the world of startups. The workshop on personal branding took place, explaining how to be the most equipped in this fast-changing ecosystem.
The Diversity and Inclusion Matters has been a day of positive, healthy, and constructive debates and networking at UniCredit am Kaiserwasser in Vienna, Austria.
